Lincolnshire explosion

A man has killed himself with home-made explosives in Lincolnshire according to the police.

He suffered severe burns and injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital, police said.

Officers believe the explosion, in Allen Road, Coningsby, was caused by some sort of home-made device and are not looking for anyone else.

UPDATE (10 Jan 2007): it sounds from this as though it really is unconnected with anything more wide-scale.
